Some of you may recall Pashbo’s facebook photo album last year where he followed Frodo’s path and took photos of landmarks corresponding to the date that Frodo would have been there. Pashbo is doing it again this year and upping his game a bit!
For the second year running, from the 23rd September, he will attempt to recreate the journeys of Frodo via the UK Gilrain Server on Lord of the Rings Online.
His quest will follow the route as set out in the book Journeys of Frodo by Barbara Strache. Each night (UK time) Pashbo plans to leave a picture of himself based at the same location that Frodo arrived at on that same date. He will be travelling from Bag End to Lothlorien, where he will complete the journey on January 17th, 2011.
Pashbo emailed us about his plans and added:
This year, to make things a little bit different, I will be completing unfinished quests around the locations, and will spin these into the story.
Pashbo will be posting pictures and writing a daily blog on his kin’s web site The Pesky Dwarf Preservation Society: http://peskydwarf.wordpress.com/. His first announcement on the event was posted today (which is his birthday!) and things will start up tomorrow!
