Prized Angmar’s Free People’s Steed Appearance Fixed!

April 26, 2011

General

A while back, I mentioned a new horse that was using an appearance from an existing horse. When first added to the game back in November of last year, the “Prized Angmar’s Free People’s Steed” had an identical appearance to the Dunedain War Steed earned by completing several Eriador instance deeds. This was later confirmed to be a bug, and we were told that it would be fixed in a later patch.

With the announcement that Bullroarer has been patched with Update 3 content, I decided to see if this horse had been updated with a new appearance yet. I am happy to confirm that the horse’s look has been updated! I think it’s rather impressive looking and I can’t wait for the patch so my captains can enjoy their "new" horses.

I like, and it’ll go very nicely with my current armor set. Also with a fixed appearance: The Anniversary Yard windmill.

This, along with my Steed of Night – will be my Champion’s trademark horse. Why is it that I actually liked going into Angmar only when I played my Champ? She’s such a dark soul.

Wow, that horse is awesome. Now I have a reason to take my main back to Angmar and get their rep. Skipped the zone while leveling aside from farming some pages. Thanks for the find, Ketani!

There was a 2nd Wardens of Annuminas horse that was pulled from the game before the last update becasue they needed to work on it more I guess. has that one been re-added? It was another nice one, all brown with a brown saddle, sort of old west style. Had those corn-rows for a mane that all the rangers’ horses seem to have though.
