As per usual, new patch notes have me looking for anything mentioning updates to livestock and fertilizer. This time around there isn’t anything concerning boar poo, but we do have a couple updates in regards to horses.
First up we have this bit in the In Their Absence section of the notes:
The Meta deed will re-complete for all who have done it before and give them the horse. Anyone who has not completed it will retain their progress.
Said meta deed involves completing all of the In Their Absence instances (North Cotton Farm, Stoneheight, Lost Temple, Sari-surman and Ost Dunhoth) on tier 2 including challenge quests, and is quite the accomplishment. Part of the reward for this deed is the Prized Ost Dunhoth War Steed, but for a while now, the deed has been broken and wasn’t actually rewarding the horse upon deed completion. That has now been fixed and anyone who has previously finished the deed and didn’t have their horse before this patch should have now received their horse (or pony).
Sadly, I have yet to complete this deed, so I had to rely on the kindness of a fellow Elendilmir player to have a picture to share with you. Elrandthir of the kinship FireFighters has granted me permission to share pictures of his Prized Ost Dunhoth War Steed.
This horse has 168% run speed and 250 morale (alternate view).
The second update is something I didn’t see listed in the patch notes. However, I thought it was worth mentioning anyway. Remember the Steed of the Hunter? Well, there was some funky placement of the saddle and/or rider for that horse. Apparently, your character decided that the best way to sit on the saddle was to become one with it. Thankfully, this has been fixed and my captain now feels a little less silly riding a horse meant for a hunter.
Whew, that looks much more comfortable!
