Letter from the Producer 2012

December 21, 2012

LOTRO News

This year’s producer wrap up for the year was written by Aaron “Rowan” Campbell. He talks about what LOTRO accomplished this year in terms of updates and of course the Rohan expansion.

He also gives a little glimpse of what is to come:

  • Rohan Instance Cluster Part 2
  • Class Skills – looking for feedback on class skills of what is great and what isn’t.
  • More scaled instances – specifically mentioning Ost Dunhoth
  • Rebalanced loot drops for skirmishes and scaling instances

“Month of” event? Sounds like another 12 “Months of not listening to people demanding class/skill changes”

    Poor hunters :(

He says that in the past they have done “Month of” events – I took that to mean that they are going to do something different this year, although now that I read it again it’s not explicitly clear either way. Wait and see, I suppose.
