#LOTRO: Tale of the Shipwrecked Mariner Returns

Events, Festival Guides, LOTRO

International Talk Like A Pirate Day be Thursday, September 19th! This be a special day that Turbine likes to have fun with as well including the in-game event Tale of the Shipwrecked Mariner.

Head out to the shores of the Brandywine River near the Brandywine Bridge on the Bree-land side to find some quests pertaining to this event! It is active now!

There are also additional goodies in the LOTRO Store celebrating being a pirate such as eye patches and pirate hats. All the fashion rage for the middle-earth pirate. I do suggest you run through the events before rushing out to buy these items as most (possibly all) can be obtained by the event quartermaster.

This event will be active from September 19th through 23rd. Yarrrrr!

Well, looks like it isn’t active this year. No shipwrecked mariners anywhere near Brandywine Bridge. Looks like they sailed through this time.

You’re right as always the European was too early. Thought it starts around nine, which was the time the festival ended.

I haven’t had the chance to look, but anything new this year with this mini event?

      Just bags of bounder tokens.

They did say on Twitter that Bilbo and Frodo birthday event will have new quests. That should start this weekend.

How long will it last this year since this is one of the only ways to get bounders tokens right now?
